Prospectus

Lament is an original musical drama based on the conspiracy to overthrow the English monarchy in 1648, which ended in the beheading of King Charles I. It is currently being considered for production as a premium cable original film, an animated feature film, and a stage production. The three year writing project was completed in May 2007 by composer Phil Close and writer/lyricist Lee Cusenbary.
